Overwhelmed with all the concerns and options of planning an event yet excited about all its possibilities is how most of our customers feel when they come to the Town Centre. After all, it is not what we are doing that wears us out. It’s the burden of all the things we’re not doing. Sound familiar? This is event planning in a nut shell. We understand, and this is what sets Leslie Town Centre apart.
We know how much it takes to pull off a major event or meeting. That’s because we aren’t just a venue. We actually plan a charitable event every year called Mistletoe Market
. This real world experience makes us keenly aware of what we can do to help our customers. From designing the room and finding quality service providers, to pulling together all the loose ends and fine details that make an event exceptional, our Event Designers Guide makes finding those options easy. We like to call it the EDG.
The EDG is a proprietary interactive resource available to customers on our Tablet that they may use at the Town Centre. It lists a variety of caterers, photographers, and other service providers that you will need. It also connects you to their websites or menus so you can check out their style before you call them.
Design Your Event
We make it easy! When planning an event, we build the room around you. This starts with an interactive form on our website called Design Your Event
. Here we ask you a number of questions that helps us create a room that is exactly what you want. And because we are so precise and conscious of stretching your event dollars, we only charge you for the things you need. Plus, we do the room setup and breakdown for you!

Debi Smith, Event Director
Debi started her professional life as a bookkeeper. For more than 30 years, she poured over profit & loss statements and worked with very few people. Outside of work, her creativity, warmth, hospitality, and energy went into making new friends and having get-togethers and dinner parties. That was
her passion. In 2007, Debi made a change and came to work with the Town Centre as the event director and was immediately in her element. Now Debi works with our customers helping to make their dreams a reality.
We Give Back
Our community is important to us. To give back to the area that has supported us for over 10 years, we have two charitable programs. USA Mondays
is a discount program where events held on Mondays celebrating the service of military, emergency services personnel, law enforcement officers or firefighters will receive a hero’s discount of 50% off their room rate.
Together We Care
is a program to benefit the many non-profits that add so much to the quality of life in Cookeville and the region by giving the selected organizations a discount on their booking. For more information see our Together We Care
